After earning a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Western Washington University, I began working with preschool-aged children, completing my internship at a developmental preschool in Albany, NY. Moving back to Washington State, I continued working at private clinics in Kent, Issaquah, and Woodinville.  In 2006, I established my own practice in Woodinville, WA.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Teletherapy appointments are available for previously established clients. Scheduling is based on appropriateness for age and level of engagement.

Contact time ranges from 45 - 50 minutes, including the time needed to explain homework. Parents are asked to join our sessions or wait in the adjacent room where they can hear and observe our interactions. This way, parents can participate in the sessions as needed, can ask questions regarding their child's therapy, and can support continued work at home on each child's objectives.

An initial evaluation is scheduled prior to beginning therapy in order to establish a baseline for current skills. Audio recording of the child's speech may be done, with permission from the caregiver. These can be referenced at any time during the therapy process to make sure that the child is progressing and that adjustments to treatment strategies can be made as necessary.
